Will I still be able to read and write email using a dedicated email program (such as Outlook Express)?

Premium service members with NetZero HiSpeed 3G, Platinum, or MegaMail have the option to use a dedicated email program in addition to Message Center.

After June 1, 2004, if you are NetZero Free member and you wish to use a dedicated email program such as Outlook Express to send and receive your NetZero email, you will need to upgrade to one of our premium services. Please click here to upgrade.

How do I access the new Message Center system?

Go to webmail.netzero.net and enter your NetZero Member ID (your email address without the @netzero.com) and password.

Do I have to be connected to the Web to read and write email?

Premium members with NetZero HiSpeed 3G, Platinum, or MegaMail can continue to read and write email through their regular email program without tying up your phone line or being connected to the Web.

After June 1, 2004, if you are NetZero Free member, you will need to connect to the Web to read and write email through Message Center.

How can I leave email on the server so I can download it later using my regular email program?

Email left in your Inbox will remain on the server and will be available to be downloaded the next time you check your email using the NetZero software and your regular email program. If you delete any messages from your Inbox while using Message Center or place them in a folder on the Message Center system, they won't be downloaded to your computer. Messages in custom folders will be saved, but deleted messages are permanently erased.

How do I save messages I've accidentally sent to the Trash?

If you accidentally delete a message and want to retrieve it, you can move the message from the trash folder to your Inbox or a new folder you created. For instructions on how to do this, click here.

Note: Any messages left in the trash after you end your Message Center session will be permanently erased.
