How do I enable or disable call waiting? If you use the same telephone line for phone calls, you may want to make sure call waiting is disabled before you connect so your Web connection is not disrupted by incoming calls. If, however, you would like to know when you receive an incoming call, you can make sure that call waiting is enabled. This way, if you are online, have call waiting, and receive an incoming call, you will be disconnected from the Web so you can answer the call.
To enable call waiting: - Double-click the NetZero icon on your desktop.
- On the Welcome screen, click the Setup button.
 - On the NetZero Setup screen, click Locations.
 - On the Dialing Location screen, select the dialing location you would like to modify and click Modify.
 - On the Set Up a Dialing Location screen, click No next to Do you want to disable call waiting.
 - Click Continue.
- On the Select Access Numbers screen, click Continue.
 - On the Congratulations screen, click Finish.
 - Click Connect to connect to NetZero.
 Call waiting will be enabled, and you may be disconnected if a call comes through.
To disable call waiting: - Double-click the NetZero icon on your desktop.
- On the Welcome screen, click the Settings button.
 - On the NetZero Setup screen, click Locations.
 - On the Dialing Location screen, select the dialing location you would like to modify and click Modify.
 - On the Set Up a Dialing Location screen, click Yes next to Do you want to disable call waiting.
- In the box that appears to the right, make sure the code to disable call waiting is entered (such as *70).
 - Click Continue.
- On the Select Access Numbers screen, click Continue.

NetZero will not reimburse you for any such charges, including long distance or toll charges. - On the Congratulations screen, verify that your numbers will be dialed with *70 and click Finish.
 - Click Connect to connect to NetZero.
 Call Waiting will be disabled and you should not be interrupted while online.
