What is a program upgrade?

An upgrade is a new version of either Norton AntiVirus Online or Norton Internet Security Online that replaces your current version. Upgrades may include new features, improvements that resolve existing technical problems, and compatibility with newly released operating systems or their updates (service packs). The new program must be installed to get the new features.
