Can I use Dial-Up Networking (DUN) to connect to the software?

The only way to connect to NetZero is by using our proprietary software. Although our software requires the use of Dial-Up Networking, you cannot use Dial-Up Networking by itself to log on to NetZero. If you want to surf the Internet or check email, you must always connect to NetZero first.

To connect to NetZero, double-click the NetZero icon on your desktop to bring up the log-on screen. In the log-on screen, select your Member ID, type in your password and click Connect.

Note: You should NOT change the Dial Up-Networking telephone number to anything else. If you change this number, you will experience difficulties connecting to NetZero.

After connecting, your browser should launch automatically and you will be able to manually launch any other Internet application or surf the Internet as you choose.
