Email Setup - Mozilla Mail for Linspire These instructions will help you configure Mozilla Mail for Linspire to get NetZero email. - Double-click the Mail icon on your desktop.
- The New Account Setup window will appear for first-time users. If it does not appear, go to the Edit menu and select Mail & Newsgroups account settingsand click the Add Account button on the left.
- The Account Wizard will appear. To begin, click the button next to Email account and click Next.
- On the Identity screen, enter your name in the first box, and your full email address (such as memberid@netzero.com) in the second. Click Next to continue.
- On the Server Information screen, select POP, and next to Incoming Server, type pop.netzero.com. Next to Outgoing Server, type authsmtp.netzero.com
- Click Next to continue.
- On the User Name screen, type your email address minus the @netzero.com (such as memberid) and click Next.
- On the Account Name screen, enter a name for your new account (such as NetZero Email Account) and click Finish.
- The Congratulations screen will appear confirming your email settings. Click Finish.
Note: Due to limits placed on your mailbox, you must complete the following steps to prevent your mail from being blocked or deleted. - From the Edit menu, select Mail & Newsgroups account settings...
- Find your account on the left and double-click it to expand its options.
- Click Server Settings.
- In the window on the right, ensure that the Leave messages on server box is unchecked.
- Click OK to save.
