Email Setup - Mozilla Mail for Linspire

These instructions will help you configure Mozilla Mail for Linspire to get NetZero email.

1. Double-click the Mail icon on your desktop.
2. The New Account Setup window will appear for first-time users. If it does not appear, go to the Edit menu and select Mail & Newsgroups account settingsand click the Add Account button on the left.
3. The Account Wizard will appear. To begin, click the button next to Email account and click Next.

4. On the Identity screen, enter your name in the first box, and your full email address (such as memberid@netzero.com) in the second. Click Next to continue.

5. On the Server Information screen, select POP, and next to Incoming Server, type pop.netzero.com. Next to Outgoing Server, type authsmtp.netzero.com

6. Click Next to continue.
7. On the User Name screen, type your email address minus the @netzero.com (such as memberid) and click Next.

10. On the Account Name screen, enter a name for your new account (such as NetZero Email Account) and click Finish.

11. The Congratulations screen will appear confirming your email settings. Click Finish.

Note: Due to limits placed on your mailbox, you must complete the following steps to prevent your mail from being blocked or deleted.

• From the Edit menu, select Mail & Newsgroups account settings...
• Find your account on the left and double-click it to expand its options.
• Click Server Settings.
• In the window on the right, ensure that the Leave messages on server box is unchecked.
• Click OK to save.
