How do I disable third-party firewalls?

While your NetZero DSL modem has a built-in firewall, it's designed to work with third-party firewalls to provide added security. However, there are times when these firewalls could conflict with your NetZero DSL connection, and you will need to modify their security settings, or disable them completely.
