I cannot use the service because it keeps telling me I need to update my account information.

If your credit card is declined when we attempt to bill it, your DSL service will be temporarily suspended.

Your credit card may have been declined for several reasons:

  • It may have expired
  • We were unable to reach the bank that issued your credit card;
  • We are unable to verify the account information

(Note: These last two reasons also help prevent unauthorized use of your card).

To resolve this problem, try one of the following options:

  1. Log in to your account page at http://account.netzero.com and try using another credit card.
  2. Contact your credit card company to find out why the card was declined. The phone number of your credit card company is usually available on the back of the card, or printed on your credit card statement.
