Connect on Demand - Setup

To take advantage of Dial on Demand, ensure that these points have been met:

  • You must have a NetZero HiSpeed 3G Account
  • Your Member ID and Password must be stored in the NetZero software
  • Your computer must always be connected to your phone line

Can I have more than one account setup for Connect on Demand?
Connect on Demand is setup to work for every member using the same NetZero software. If there are multiple accounts using the same computer to access the Internet, than Connect on Demand will be setup to work for every one. The last NetZero HiSpeed 3G account that connected to the Internet will be used when Connect on Demand is enabled.


How do I setup Connect on Demand?
Before you can take advantage of Connect on Demand you will need to enable the feature.

Setup Connect on Demand:

  1. Double-click the NetZero icon on your desktop
  1. Click Settings.
  1. Click Connection.
  1. Under 'How do you want to connect to the Internet', use the click here link to view the advanced settings.
  1. Check the box next to Automatically connect when I click on a link or open a browser.
  1. Click Finish.
  2. Click Finish again.
